The Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church Day School (AHPCDS) exists as an evangelistic outreach serving the community on behalf of Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church.

Our school is a non-profit ministry whose purpose is to provide children with a loving, secure environment for educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. The staff and teachers of AHPCDS seek to witness to children and their families about God’s love, therefore exhibiting concern for all children, families, and co-workers. We strive to demonstrate our faith and commitment to this ministry in all that we do and say.
Educational excellence, unwavering dedication, and outstanding child care are the values that Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church Day School has stood behind for 40 years.

Our focus is on the welfare and education of your whole child.

In order to properly encourage your child’s personal and academic development, our professional educators follow a unique approach that combines academic excellence with a free-spirited and playful atmosphere for learning. Our teachers regularly participate in educational seminars, professional development and strive to bring new ideas and input to daily classroom experiences.

Kindness is an integral part of Christian faith and fosters a safe and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and loved.

We encourage children to express themselves freely and explore creativity through various forms of art, music, and play.

We strive to create a supportive and empathetic community that promotes emotional well-being.

We strive to continuously improve our educational programs and practices to meet the evolving needs of our students, families, and community.

Our students from 1-5 years old attend chapel every day. In chapel, we sing songs, learn about Gods’ love, pray for one another, and celebrate special days.

As a parent, I cannot recommend AHPCDS enough. The teachers and staff are dedicated, compassionate, and truly invested in each child’s well-being and success. My child has thrived academically and emotionally in their care, and I am grateful for the positive impact they have had on our family.”
